I’ll keep this intro short and sweet - when Onell Gibson and I were chatting for the full episode that also went up today, I simply had to ask some very specific questions about the upcoming NBA season since I know he is as big of a fan as I am. We ended up talking about a bunch of NBA-related things and I loved it enough that I didn’t want to simply relegate it to being a post-credits stinger scenario, but also know that not everyone loves basketball as much as we do, so it also didn’t feel like it fit within the full episode... Thus my first ever mini episode!
So as previously stated, my guest for this episode is Onell Gibson. During our conversation, we discussed the ongoing James Harden drama in Philadelphia and how that affects Joel Embiid’s future in the City of Brotherly Love, hating the fact we have to root against Austin Reaves, why the Phoenix Suns had to make the KD trade, the chances the Suns win the franchise’s first championship, and we even tacked on a little Philadelphia Eagles hype as well.
